ZODIAQ

Zodiaq is a quartz product made by DuPont. The materials are ¾" thick, with a sheet size of 56"x120". This means that we can accommodate even larger island tops in a single piece. Zodiaq is made of 93% quartz crystals (Quartz is a 7 on the Mohs´ hardness scale), and 7% resin and color. Zodiaq is a non-porous material that never needs to be sealed. It is heat (up to 356°F), scratch, and stain resistant. Zodiaq has a 10 year warranty from DuPont that covers both the installation and fabrication, if it ever has a problem. Zodiaq is a sterile surface that, much like Corian, does not promote the growth of mold, mildew, or bacteria. It is also nontoxic, chemically non-reactive, and hypoallergenic, with virtually no off-gassing at normal room temperatures. Zodiaq has the inherent strength of quartz, one of the hardest natural substances on earth, ensuring that is will retain its smooth, lustrous appearance for years to come. Other products use crushed glass or mirrors to get the same shimmer and shine that Zodiaq gets from using the quartz pieces. CaesarStone

CaesarStone is the original engineered stone surfacing material. It is comprised of approximately 93% natural quartz, and approximately 7% color pigments and polyester resins.
